At an upcoming industry event, Tango Networks (News - Alert), a provider of mobile collaboration solutions, and SpiderCloud Wireless, a provider of scalable small cell enterprise radio access network (E-RAN) systems, are planning to demonstrate the features and benefits of Tango’s Mobile UC and advanced PBX (News - Alert) services using the SpiderCloud Services Node (SCSN).
Gilles Allain, senior vice president of international sales at Tango Networks, said, “The growing demand for both Corporate-liable and personal Bring-Your-Own-Device mobility solutions in the workplace requires not only adequate coverage and capacity but also integration with enterprise business processes. Integrating our market-leading Mobile UC applications including Mobile Call Recording and extensive PBX integrations with SpiderCloud’s unique small cell services architecture provides the seamless mobility users require to effectively conduct business.”
Tango Networks explained that its Small Cell Connect solution is specifically designed for wireless providers who are looking for means to deploy small cells across their wireless networks for enterprise customers. The solution ensures that mobile carriers and enterprises can monetize their growing small cell deployments by offering compelling services while providing a rich user experience.
The SpiderCloud Service Node can act as a “local” control point for the small cell network deployed inside the enterprise, enabling mobile operators to seamlessly and effectively coordinate small cells or inter-small cell signaling. It can also take over as a cellular-enterprise integration gateway, from where the services node authenticates enterprise users and, based on policies, locally switches traffic from enterprise users to the Intranet.
By integrating the Small Cell Connect solution with the SpiderCloud Services Node, the companies aims to enable mobile operators to ensure that enterprises acquire the capability to extend their Mobile UC and PBX services, from their existing IP telephony networks through their small cells, as part of the trusted carrier macro-cellular network.
Amit Jain, vice president of product management at SpiderCloud Wireless, added, “The joint integration of SpiderCloud and Tango Networks’ solutions helps speed up adoption of mobile Unified Communications (News - Alert) inside the enterprise. By providing a managed small cell network with reliable mobile voice and data access integrated with the enterprise’s existing IP telephony network, mobile operators become a true trusted partner for their enterprise customers for the complete mobile experience beyond just access and devices.”
