ISI Readies Session Demonstrating Call Accounting Value

May 08, 2017

There has long been value in the trade show. The ability to get large numbers of influencers and markets together in the same room, physically, to discuss developments, exhibit products, and make connections has long been sufficient to get many to take costly plane trips, stay in pricey hotels, and shoulder plenty of burden for a chance at making new contacts. ISI Telemanagement, meanwhile, will demonstrate some of that value itself with a new event at Cisco (News - Alert) Live focused on call reporting systems.

The ISI event will focus on the value generated by coupling a current profile of Cisco unified communications (UC) tools together with the lineup of UC management systems that ISI (News - Alert) can bring into the fold. That includes call accounting mechanisms, a system which has long been able to provide value by allowing users to see just what calls take place. That visibility is enough to not only spot fraud but also catch potential points of cost savings down the line.

Further, the ISI session will focus on a variety of subclasses within UC, including voice and video as well as instant messaging and conferencing tools, both inside and outside a contact center environment. We've already seen some of the value in these tools, and that value is only augmented by the need to address compliance with certain regulatory mandates as well as improve systems to better compete in certain markets.

That's a lot of value to demonstrate, and ISI's event will be ready to demonstrate how its own “consultative approach” allows businesses to not only see what's available, but how it can be better incorporated into current systems. Those who want to see for themselves what ISI has in mind need only follow this link to sign up for the event, running June 27 from 4:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the Cisco Live event. ISI will also be exhibiting at Booth 523.

Whether it's call accounting, UC tools, collaboration systems or most any other communications tool, understanding how to actually use these systems is every bit as important as understanding why these systems are used. That's where the ISI session will provide extra value; we all know a lot of the why, though we'll likely get more insight there with this event. Now, we get a better look at the how as well, and that makes it particularly valuable.

In the end, it's all about value, and ISI is ready to put on plenty of that in talking about call accounting and other tools besides. The Cisco event should prove welcome for everyone who wants to understand what calls are coming in and how to get the most out of them.
